CommentsROCKET SLEIGH is an original Christmas overture suitable for all sorts of holiday concerts. It is a fast, catchy, and exciting piece perfect for orchestras looking for a brand-new addition to the holiday repertoire. Musically interesting but not too technically demanding, Rocket Sleigh has been performed by major professional orchestras, community orchestras, and university orchestras across the country, and would be appropriate for advanced youth orchestras as well. Accessible but musically interesting, it is tonal and features some mixed meters. Since Rocket Sleigh is in B-flat, it nicely follows Sleigh Ride on a holiday concert.
